Equity Residential (NYSE: EQR), a recognized leader in corporate responsibility, today announced the publication of its 2025 Corporate Responsibility report. The report describes the Company’s strategies around sustainability, employee development, customer engagement, community service and governance as well as its goals and achievements in these areas.

  • The Company made further progress towards its energy, emissions and water reduction goals and met its goal of 20% reduction in energy intensity several years ahead of schedule.

  • The Company earned membership into the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2025, a distinction achieved by only 10% of 2024 Corporate Sustainability Assessment participants.
