Pickering Energy Partners Welcomes Industrial Efficiency Expert to Consulting & Advocacy Practice

Transportation and Industrial Veteran Dr. Graham Conway Joins PEP

Pickering Energy Partners (PEP), a Houston-based energy financial services firm, recently welcomed Dr. Graham Conway as a director in the firm’s Consulting & Advocacy practice. Conway brings more than 15 years of experience in research, development and evaluation of low carbon technologies across transportation and industrial segments.

“Reliable energy access impacts all segments of the industrial supply chain, and with Graham Conway’s added expertise, our team is well positioned to help more clients map out their medium and long-term plans as they are impacted by private and public energy programs, changing regulations and swings in the financial markets,” shared Dan Romito, Managing Director of PEP’s Consulting & Advocacy practice. “History tells us that the energy and industrial companies who stay on top of their efficiency and decarbonization plans retain support from higher quality capital markets solutions.”

Conway brings knowledge and influence that will expand PEP’s traditional Consulting & Advocacy sustainability monitoring products throughout the industrials sector. Conway also brings a skillset to guide clients towards target-setting to implement realistic decarbonization strategies.

“Driven by all the success PEP has achieved providing solutions within the energy space, we receive quite a few inquiries from industrial companies asking for similar help. Given Graham’s expertise, his hiring makes perfect sense,” added Dan Pickering, PEP’s Founder and Chief Investment Officer.

Conway’s areas of expertise include technology road mapping, life-cycle assessment, market forecasting and R&D for industrial carbon-capture technologies as well as traditional and alternative powertrain technologies including hydrogen and battery electric vehicles. Most recently, Conway led the Low Carbon Technology group at Southwest Research Institute, executing significant research and development projects for both commercial and government clients in support of their decarbonization goals. He was recently recognized with the San Antonio Business Journal 40 Under 40 award. Conway earned his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Leeds in the UK.
